Ortho Imagery Technician


Job Description
Aero-Graphics, Inc., a leading geospatial services company, is currently seeking talented and highly motivated individual to join our team for a long term career position. The open position is for full time Ortho Imagery Technician.

Essential Job Duties Include:
Successful candidates will be responsible for generating and editing of DTMs.
Responsible for digital image mosaicking, color balancing and digital image editing.
Work under QA/QC (quality assurance and quality control) projects environment.
Exporting data to the customers desired file formats.
Successful candidates will be trained in many aspects of orthophoto creation and related applications.

Essential Job Requirements:
Applicants must have basic knowledge of computers (Windows) on a daily use basis.
Capability to see 3D imagery in stereo.
Ability to work well within a team environment.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Strong commitment to quality; be highly motivated; posses a positive attitude; excellent multi-tasking and organizational skills.
Knowledge of AutoCAD or ArcGIS is a plus but not required.

Experience desired in:
AutoCAD
ArcGIS

Education:
High school diploma.
AS, AAS, or BS in Surveying/Geomatics, Geography, or GIS preferred.
